MANAGING DIRECTOR / CHIROPRACTOR
Dr Melani Li
BChiro, BBus, GradCertBus, MNZCA
I absolutely love being a chiropractor. Every day I get to support people of all ages — from newborns to grandparents — and watch them thrive as their bodies begin to function and heal the way they’re designed to. It’s such a privilege to be part of that journey.
I believe the body has an incredible ability to heal when it’s given the right environment and support. It’s truly inspiring to see the changes that happen when we remove interference from the nerve system. Whether someone comes in for pain relief, support during pregnancy, help with their child’s development, or to simply function at their best, I feel honoured to walk alongside them.
I see chiropractic care as a space where real change and everyday miracles can happen. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a person’s quality of life improve — not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. That’s what keeps me passionate, grounded, and grateful for the work I do every single day.

CHIROPRACTOR
Dr Ali Brooker
BChiroSci, BChiro, MNZCA
Ali completed her undergraduate chiropractic studies in her hometown of Sydney before relocating to New Zealand and graduating from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in 2016. Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Ali was a professional ballerina in Germany and enjoyed an exciting life of travel to various countries around the world. It was during this time that she became aware of the connection between mind and body and began seeking out ways to improve physical performance. This included studies in psychology and a deep enquiry into meditation and yoga with an eventual uncovering of the world of chiropractic.
With gentle chiropractic adjustments utilising Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), Ali sees how a balanced structure, improved movement and nerve-system ease facilitates greater body awareness and healthier lifestyle choices. She enjoys working with people of all ages, with a keen interest in helping families take a proactive approach to their health, having done numerous post graduate pregnancy and paediatric courses.
Ali considers New Zealand home these days and outside of practice you’ll find her walking amongst the North Shore beaches or bush, taking part in a yoga class or tennis game, having fun dancing, or off on a silent meditation retreat.

CHIROPRACTOR
Dr Serena Parag
BChiro, MNZCA
Serena was first introduced to chiropractic care after seeing the positive changes it made for a close family member with Crohn’s disease. Seeing how even small shifts in the spine and nervous system could create meaningful changes in daily life and wellbeing inspired her passion for chiropractic and her commitment to helping others on their own health journey.
She sees chiropractic as a way of supporting the body’s natural ability to adapt — so people can move more freely, function better, and focus less on what’s holding them back, and more on living the life they love.
Serena enjoys caring for people of all ages, from babies and children to families and older adults, and is passionate about being able to support them in reaching their health goals. Outside of practice, Serena enjoys hockey, fitness at the gym, time with family and friends, and being outdoors in the sun.

REFLEXOLOGIST
Wairere Giffen
Registered Reflexologist and First Light Flower Essences® of New Zealand Practitioner
Naturally grounded in holistic health, my experience draws on more than 20 years across nursing, counselling, reflexology, and vibrational medicine, each path enriching my understanding of wellbeing and the human experience. I’ve also spent time in the creative industry, which continues to influence the way I connect with people and bring presence to my work.
My journey to embrace my whakapapa, (Kāti Mamoe, Waitaha, Ngāti Raukawa, and Te Ātiawa) began when our son started Kōhanga Reo. This deepened my commitment to learning te reo Māori and honouring tikanga (correct process and values) within my practice. Today, I consider my work mahi wairua – spiritual work; focused on aligning mind, body, and spirit in a respectful and culturally grounded way.
I am a registered reflexologist, having graduated from the Bayly School of Reflexology in London in 1994. Alongside this, I studied and practiced Bach Flower Therapy before shifting to the First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® in 2017, becoming a registered practitioner in 2022. I am also a student of rongoā Māori at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, and intuitively integrate aspects of this traditional healing practice, some of which has been passed down through our mother.
My approach is gentle, intuitive, and integrative, holding space for healing, reconnection, and balance on all levels.
